School Camp Packages
The Harrietville Mountain View Retreat in Victoria, with absolute Ovens river frontage and nearby lake, provides schools and other user groups the ability to program water base activities including river swimming, li lo races, fishing, canoeing and tube races.
Schools can choose from a number of set Primary or Secondary School Camps, or, if you prefer, we can develop a program from scratch that caters for your specific requirements.

Our School Camps programs are typically between three and five days and are suitable for all ages and abilities. We offer a wide range of fun activities programs on and off site, such as:
14 separate initiative activities are provided on site incorporating swing bridge, blind obstacle course and various low rope activities.
Table Tennis Volleyball, Spa House, Mountain bikes , Croquet, 1/2 court basketball and Outdoor Cinema* (available in summer only)
Bush craft skills activities are available including: raft making, hut making, bush tucker and bush cooking and bush camping. Other environmental base themes are available.
The Harrietville Mountain View Retreat, is situated on 5 acres and provides plenty of open space for activities and rambles like Basketball, Football, and Cricket.
Night time activities are also available including sunset bonfires, camp cooking, outdoor cinema, possum prowls, disco/dance nights, star gazing and night river walk.
At Mountain View Retreat, we provide a nutritious, varied and delicious menu to meet our guests’ needs.
Mountain View maintains a policy of no obvious nut or nut derivative ingredients (e.g. Peanut oil, Almond meal) in any food items provided.
We also request that guests do not bring any food items which may contain nuts or nut derived ingredients.
In addition we are quite accustomed to serving guests with particular dietary considerations and will happily do so given appropriate notice.
To facilitate this we will request a dietary and medical summary for your group at least two weeks prior to your arrival.
